We are seeking an experiencedSite Engineerto join our team on a range of civil engineering construction contracts. The ideal candidate will bring2–5 years of hands-on experienceacross Civils, Drainage, Roads, and Earthworks projects, with strong technical capability in setting out, GPS systems, Total Stations, and AutoCAD.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with current Irish Health & Safety Regulations and company H&S policiesOversee on-site quality control across all elements of the worksSupport daily supervision and monitoring of site activitiesCarry out accurate setting out for all project componentsMaintain daily site records, test results, and documentationAssist with updating and tracking the project programmeSupervise subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to specificationLiaise with clients, consultants, and representatives; attend progress meetingsOrganise site facilities and resources to meet project deadlinesTroubleshoot technical issues and resolve unexpected challenges on siteSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience in pipelines, earthworks, and road constructionMinimum2 years post-graduate site experienceDemonstrated track record as a Setting Out Engineer within the last 12 monthsProficient with GPS, Total Stations, and Dumpy LevelsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsQualifications & KnowledgeMinimum Degree in Civil EngineeringSolid understanding of current Health & Safety regulationsCertification in Traffic Management or Underground Services (advantageous)Proficient in Microsoft Office21 days annual leaveContributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeGroup discount with health insurance providerFor more information on this position please call Patricia Iuga on 021 233 9120 or apply online and a member of the Ward Personnel team will be in touch.
