Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Store Manager to lead a high-performing pharmacy store. 2 vacancies based in Co. Clare and Co. Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Retail Manager to take ownership of store performance, lead a strong team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
As Pharmacy Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the store, managing commercial performance, leading the team, and ensuring operational excellence. You will work closely with the Supervising Pharmacist to ensure a seamless and compliant pharmacy operation.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of store sales, margin, payroll, and profitability
Deliver on KPIs and implement action plans to drive performance
Manage stock, inventory, and supplier relationships effectively
Drive revenue across OTC and retail categories
Monitor pricing, shrink, and waste to protect margins
Lead a customer-first culture across the store
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Create a welcoming and community-focused store environment
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
Conduct performance reviews and regular team engagement
Work alongside the Supervising Pharmacist to ensure full regulatory compliance
About You
3+ years of store management experience
Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
Experience leading and developing teams
Pharmacy retail experience is a distinct advantage, but not essential
