Subsequently, you'll take a lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans. You'll also develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely, responsive services/work products, and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special services. In addition, you'll prepare documentation, assist in preparation of APA/MAP filing and prepare documentation to support transfer pricing in audits and develop practical planning services. You will demonstrate dedication to quality in all aspects of your work, which will include managing client service team members and contributing to the achievement of team goals.Your Key ResponsibilitiesShape and articulate solutions to complex technical problems working with stakeholders from EY, client and tax authoritiesHigh level management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken Designing, implementing and defending transfer pricing policies for a broad range of clientsAssist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leadersParticipate in business development initiativesBuild strong internal relationships within the transfer pricing team and across other servicesSkills And Attributes For SuccessExperienced Transfer Pricing tax practitionerProven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statuteUnderstanding of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and domestic transfer pricing legislation in Ireland and their impact on our clients.Strategically and commercially awareEffective time managementStrong managerial, organizational, project management, analytical and verbal/written communication skillsExcellent communicator in range of situations both written and oralAbility to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwardsTo qualify for the role you must haveOne or more of the following: an advanced degree in economics, law, finance, tax or accounting; a CPA or similar certificationA minimum of 6 years' transfer pricing or similar experience and an understanding of complex transfer pricing conceptsFluent in EnglishWhat We Look ForWe're interested in international tax professionals with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and easily understood recommendations.
