Manufacturing Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in a medical device environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, compliance with regulatory standards, and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
The role involves leading a team of production staff, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
* Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485, GMP).
* Train, mentor, and manage production staff to enhance team performance.
* Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
* Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and compliance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process inefficiencies to minimize downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in managing manufacturing operations in a medical device environment.
* Strong knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485, GMP) and industry standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and train production staff.
* Ability to analyze data and implement improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
