Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeJob Title: Head of TrainingDepartment / Location: Dublin AirportReporting to: Station ManagerDirect Reports: InstructorsHours of Work: 5 days over 7 as requiredWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Training (Instructor) for a permanent position based at Dublin Airport. While the primary location is Dublin Airport, occasional travel to other locations may be required to deliver training and conduct certifications.To be successful in this role, the candidate must obtain and maintain IAA Certified Instructor and Approved Examiner status—full training for these certifications will be fully funded by the company.This position operates on a 7-day roster with varying shift patterns throughout the year (including public holidays). Standard hours are typically Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 17:00 pm, though occasional weekend work may be necessary for a few hours when needed.PurposeWork as part of a team to deliver and develop security training to all client employees and third parties as required.Deliver training in accordance with current NCASP and EU requirements.Examine in all areas required for IAA certification.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver instructional programmes, to meet demands using current learning methodologies such as micro, interactive, gamification, social etc in addition to traditional training methods.Deliver training in person and remotely and provide training and certification support.Participate in the continual improvement of training and certification, using observation, feedback and benchmarking to build excellence into both curriculum and delivery.Achieve and retain certified instructor status.Achieve and retain examiner status for the purpose of examining in both practical and theory elements of IAA certification exams.Correct and score exam papers for all training and certification exams.Be flexible in carrying out duties beyond assigned tasks in response to customer/stakeholder/operational needs as they arise.Deliver high quality performance to achieve set targets and specified quality standards and processes.Be professional and execute duties in a consistent manner in keeping with company techniques and procedures.Be a team player, working with and supporting the whole of the team.Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Station Manager.Knowledge, Skills And ExperienceQQI level 6, equivalent or higher in training and development is desirable.Previous experience working within a security environment.Attain IAA instructor certification and examiner status within the first 6 months post appointment.Experience developing of training programmes and proven experience delivering training.A proven ability to communicate, both verbal and written.A proven ability to draft and assist in the development of technical training and documents.Strong Microsoft office skills for administration with knowledge of IT to set-up for presentations.Must work with a high degree of attention to detail.Excellent record-keeping and report-writing skillsTo apply for this position, please forward a cover letter and CV to the attention of Brian Kelly Station Manager, Ireland on brian.kelly@icts.ie Closing date for applications: Sunday 31st July 2025.Please note: The role includes a 6-month probationary period, which may be extended if the candidate's performance does not meet the expected standards.We take our commitment to principles of fairness and mutual respect for people of all faith and culturesseriously and we expect our employees to do so as well.
