As a Finance intern you will get exposure to many different areas within finance, such as Month end reporting, Finance Budgeting, AP invoicing, Fixed asset accounting and Costing.
Role & Responsibilities
* Work with site on Budget and Forecast preparation and drive Cost Governance on site
* Liaise with the BSC on Vendor/Invoice Queries and drive resolutions
* Assist Finance Team with IDA grants and SOX Audits
* Preparation and inputting journals into financial systems. Assisting the financial accountant with Accruals & Prepayments
* Preparing month-end Balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting Fixed Asset annual verification process
* Supporting month-end activities within finance department as required and directed by managers e.g. completion of government surveys
