L1 IT Support Engineer required for our client based in Dublin 2 (public sector)This is a full time position with hybrid work structure 2 days a week on siteResponsibilities:Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system.Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues.Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams.Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests.Work with IT teams and vendors to capture the risk and impact of proposed changes and ensure compliance with ITIL standards.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes are documented, communicated and implemented effectivelyRequirements:Experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role3rd level degree in a relevant disciplineFamiliarity with ITIL framework and change management principles.Strong knowledge of desktop / laptop hardware and softwareKnowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applicationsEligibility to work in IrelandSalary: 35K p.a.
