Field Support Engineer - based in Ireland

Responsibilities
* Maintain and service photolithography equipment at customer sites in clean rooms; install new equipment, perform upgrades on existing equipment, and relocate systems.
* Monitor system performance.
* Use procedures, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform preventative maintenance activities and testing under supervision.
* Handle shipping and receiving of modules needed for preventative maintenance, including crating and uncrating module assemblies.
* Perform automated or semi‑automated setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance routines on laser systems with limited supervision.
* Use standardized tools and electronic equipment (e.g., torque wrenches, electric and pneumatic screwdrivers and ball drivers, lifting equipment, computers, oscilloscopes) to assemble, install, remove, or test components and troubleshoot.
* Prepare replaced assemblies for shipment, including follow‑up for any Failure Analysis modules.
* Identify and document discrepant material, including DOA – Non Conformances, and consult with FSE.
* Document and monitor safety or security violations critical to service operations.
* Maintain housekeeping of local storage locations and tool cages in accordance with 5S practices.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Ability to read engineering specifications and sketches.
* Experience with logistics software such as Oracle or SAP (preferred).

Other Information
* Position requires flexibility to infrequently travel to another customer site with short (24‑hour) notice.
* Primary working location is a manufacturing facility in Leixlip, Kildare.
* Applicants must be able to work freely in both Ireland and the UK.
* This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
