We offer excellent benefits and long term assignments.We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the implementation of a portfolio of projects onsite, as part of the base capital projects team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary engineering project management teams, in the Food, BioPharma, Pharma or Medtech sectors, and supporting capital project execution. Responsibilities Execution of capital projects ensuring best practices using engineering, regulatory & environmental standardsOverseeing the design, procurement, budgeting, installation, testing, factory acceptance testing, validation, commissioning and handover of new process equipment / safety upgrades to operationsProject identification with subsequent scope and business case developmentAgreement of project scope including Technical requirements, ATEX requirements, CIP requirements, Machinery Safety (CE Mark) requirements and cleanabilityDeveloping the Request for Proposal (RFP) and User Requirement Specification (URS) and issuing to contractorIssuing tender documents to contractors and follow through to awardDeveloping CAPEX documentation and gaining approvalParticipating in HAZOP studiesDeveloping Change Control document for works/changes to commence on siteParticipating in the project kickoff meeting with relevant project stakeholders (Process, electrical, automation & civil contractors)Participating in the project constructability review meeting (i.e. scaffolding, MEWP, hot works, crane lifts etc)Approval of project schedule and monitoring timelines, critical path of project throughout the project lifecycleManaging snag lists, weld logs, test packs, test inspection plans, redline drawings, P&ID upgrades etc.Approving technical submittals from contractor (Materials, equipment datasheets, tank drawings, Isometrics etc)Reviewing/approving method statements prior to issuing permit to work on site. (Cold works, hot works, working at height, confined space, red tag and LOTO)Responding to contractor RFI's in a timely and efficient mannerLeading weekly progress report meetings and the weekly safety review meetingEnsuring any project changes are communicated accordingly to different departments Qualifications Degree qualification in Process & Chemical or Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering disciplineExperience working in a highly regulated environment such as BioPharma, Pharma, medical device, Food or Semi-conductorExperience with various utility systems, such as chillers, HVAC, purified water etc.Experience directing / supervision of construction projects would be an advantageGood level of project management skillsEffective communication, presentation and documentation skills'Can do' attitude and enthusiasm to get the job done.#LI-AM2
