Galway please apply if any of these locations are suitable.** My Client are a Connacht-based, €80m+ turnover Main Contractor. They focus their business on Public Works and Pharma Contracts in the West and Mid-West of Ireland and have over 60 years of continuous trading. This business are hiring for the future and are keen to bring people in who would like to progress over time. I have Recruited for this business for 3-4 years and know them well. You'll work with a very transparent Senior Management Team who value their staff and suppliers. As Site Manager, you'll be reporting in to a Contracts Manager/Company Director and will be the most senior person on-site. This project is a Social Housing Development and the next project may be something similar, a school or a pharmaceutical factory extension. in Co. Sligo. As this is an established, close-knit team, we're also looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in what they do and seeing others do well. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with Contracts Manager/Company Directors to ensure smooth-running project which makes money for the Company. Manage on-site Construction Activities, ensuring Project Milestones are met. Supervise and Co-Ordinate Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Trades. Manage EHS as per Company and Industry standards. Ensure Quality Control and adherence to Project Specifications. Manage site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem-solving Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently. Requirements: Degree qualified in Construction Management or having a trade background + previous Site Management experience. 2+ years of Construction experience as a Site Manager/Foreman/Senior Engineer Strong knowledge of Construction Practices, Regulations, and Safety Standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules. What's on offer? c.€65k-€90k DOE. 21+ days holiday. Bonus/Expenses.
