We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Manager for our client, a large corporate catering company based in Clonmel, Tipperary.
This is a daytime role Monday – Friday.
Salary: €50-55k
Location: Clonmel, Tipperary
Key Responsibilities:
1. To promote a safety culture and ensure the cleaning team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times.
2. To manage the cleaning labour, equipment & resources budget for the contract in line with company targets.
3. To ensure the cleaning operation continually improves in all areas of the operation - Quality, Cost, Delivery & Safety.
4. To ensure the cleaning team are engaged and managed effectively to achieve their performance targets.
5. To order supplies in line with budget for daily/weekly/monthly use.
6. To ensure the right number of people are supervised and trained to the right skill level to achieve the required cleaning service, conduct regular 1-2-1s, and lead from the front.
7. To ensure the delivery and quality of the cleaning operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures.
8. To manage any third-party suppliers or contractors as required, ensuring they meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements e.g., equipment maintenance.
9. To work flexibly and attend off-site meetings and training courses as required.
10. Liaison with the client EH&S and Facilities team for all Fire Evacuations, drills, signage, H&S compliance, audits, investigations etc.
11. Fully responsible for soft services Compass/EHS documentation.
12. Completion of all training, investigations etc. assigned on time.
13. Monitor and manage monthly & annual budget and client spend.
14. Continuously monitor the performance and delivery of our contractors seeking best value for money for outsourced activities.
15. Monitor labour per hour against budget.
16. Drive innovation and service improvement.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Min 5 years' experience in contract cleaning, facility management or soft services.
2. Pharmaceutical Cleanroom environment or regulated industry would be an advantage.
3. Waste management and pest control experience would be advantageous.
4. Customer focused with strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
