Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the financial operations of the manufacturing site, ensuring continuous improvement of sub-functional processes and alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, including senior-level professionals and potentially other managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
3. Serve as a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, developing and communicating strategic objectives to achieve sub-functional results and drive overall site performance.
4. Establish and enforce sub-function policies and practices that drive financial governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
5. Lead strategic initiatives to enhance financial processes, improve cost efficiencies, and support the achievement of long-term business objectives.
Requirements
* 10+ years in a relevant position, with significant management and leadership experience.
* Experience in a manufacturing cost accounting environment, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise.
* Proven track record of managing and developing senior-level professionals and potentially other managers, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
* Experience in developing and communicating strategic objectives, driving sub-functional results, and leading strategic initiatives.
Education Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
* Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar is strongly preferred.
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge
* Ability to provide strategic direction and leadership to the finance team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement of financial processes.
* In-depth understanding of financial processes, procedures, and systems, with expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
