International Transport Administrator/Planner required to join our team in St. Margaret's Dublin
Joining the busy planning department, experience within international import and export operations for own fleet of 40ft articulated vehicles is required.
Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
-Interacting with customers by email and phone to update the status of their consignment
-Receiving and booking on transport movements from clients
-Assigning vehicles and trailers to transport movements, and effectively communicating instruction to relevant drivers.
-Communicating with clients in a clear and timely manner.
-Administration of PODs and job pricing.
CPC Manager's qualification is not a requirement, but an understanding of driver hours and breaks, and loading limits is required to perform the functions of the role.
Basic knowledge of Customs procedures between the UK and Ireland would be an advantage.
The right candidate will be IT literate and have a strong grasp of spoken and written English (though this can be as a second language).
The role is Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on daily shift pattern to suit the candidate in line with business needs. After a training period, one Saturday shift in 6 would be required, with a day-in-lieu the previous week.
