NCI is one of Ireland's most progressive third-level institutions offering full and part-time courses in business, computing, psychology and education. This role is an important part of the Marketing team reaching out to potential students in secondary schools and colleges of further education. The role is a full-time role but strong applicants available to work a term-time arrangement from September to end May will be considered

Responsible for visiting schools and colleges and presenting to students on NCI programmes, particularly full-time undergraduate degrees. The role will also involve promoting NCI at a range of education fairs, school information events and at events such as NCI student open days.

The role will involve extensive local travel to schools during the school terms. A car will be provided to attend school visits. Some weekend and evening work will also be required during term time for school fairs and information evenings.

The role holder will develop relationships with school guidance counsellors and teachers to partner with them to communicate to students all the benefits of choosing NCI for their third-level journey.

As part of the NCI Marketing Team the role holder will also be part of a wider range of marketing activity such as event planning, social and digital marketing, public relations, graphic design and publications.

Reporting to:

Head of CAO Recruitment

Key Relationships:

- Head of CAO Recruitment.

- Director of Marketing.

- NCI Admissions team.

- Career Guidance Counsellors / School Principals.

Key Responsibilities:

- The planning and delivery of presentations about NCI to schools and other institutes, to include visits to schools and NCI campus visits by schools.

- Building a close relationship with Career Guidance Counsellors within the target schools for NCI.

- Marketing and promotion of NCI undergraduate programmes at exhibitions and fairs throughout Ireland.

- Carrying out marketing tasks to promote NCI including events, competitions, digital marketing initiatives and publications.

- Monitoring and feeding back on developments in the marketplace and competitor activities.

- Maintain a database for guidance counsellors and schools.

- Additional marketing and administration tasks as needed.

Key Attributes:

- Articulate with good relationship building skills.

- Initiative & ability to work without close supervision.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

- Strong desire to achieve and succeed.

- A car will be provided and a full clean driving licence to drive in Ireland is essential.

- Highly organised with an ability to project manage.

Contract:

Permanent

up to €34,685 (Support Salary Band)
