Role Overview
The Technical Support Coordinator works closely with the Technical Support Manager to coordinate administration and support activities within the Technical Support Team. Responsibilities include ensuring timely results entry by suppliers, root‑cause troubleshooting, managing documentation requests, and supporting specification management.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure quality analytical data is provided electronically by suppliers within agreed timeframes.
* Hold suppliers accountable for results entry timelines and drive improvements.
* Work with Quality Managers to maintain sufficient stock with complete results for sale.
* Coordinate and lead monthly KPI calls with manufacturers/packers to review stock, specifications, audits and customer complaints.
* Create and execute Manual Certificates of Analysis in collaboration with Quality Managers.
* Assist in the management of the Quality Management System, promoting a quality improvement culture.
* Complete Supplier Technical Questionnaires and Customer Specifications within agreed timelines.
* Respond to customer queries for the Technical Team in a timely manner.
* Monitor SharePoint queries to meet SLA targets.
* Review and optimise M3 ERP processes and inputs.
* Participate in stock management activities.
* Support continuous improvement projects as required.
* Provide appropriate service levels to Ingredients and Consumer Foods divisions.
* Represent Ornua to the highest level in all supplier and customer interactions.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Third‑level qualification in food science, food technology or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience within the dairy or food industry (desirable).
* Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
* Flexible, proactive and able to work well in a team focussed on continuous improvement.
* Proficient with Word, Excel and database tools.
* Willingness to travel within Ireland and abroad as needed.
