The Opportunity
A Tier 1 Contractor delivering large-scale building projects across Dublin is seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager to take full responsibility for end-to-end project delivery. This is a genuine
leadership role with accountability for programme, cost, quality, and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Project Leadership
Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned projects.
Set the tone, structure, and leadership approach across site, commercial, and design teams.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to specification.
Programme & Planning
Own the project programme and sequencing strategy.
Work closely with planners to manage risk and mitigate delay.
Chair programme and progress meetings with internal teams and clients.
Commercial & Risk Management
Partner with the Commercial Manager to control cost, cashflow, and risk.
Make informed commercial decisions that protect margin.
Manage change, claims, and client instructions effectively.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for the client and design team.
Lead client meetings, reporting, and decision-making forums.
Quality, Safety & Team Performance
Ensure the highest standards of health & safety on site.
Drive a right-first-time approach to quality and handover.
Mentor and develop Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a Tier 1 or large main contractor.
Strong track record delivering large commercial or residential building projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Commercially aware with strong understanding of construction risk.
Relevant construction or engineering qualification.
Salary & Package
Salary range: €85,000 -€110,000 DOE
