About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Architect to lead our site Data Analytics team and develop and implement the site data strategy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data models, developing a vision and roadmap to drive digital transformation, and ensuring data security, governance, and standards are followed.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes and use this knowledge to develop and implement architectures and solutions to improve and support business processes.
">
* Develop a data strategy and roadmap working with business partners to identify digital transformation needs that drive value.
">
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and engineers to drive the implementation of this roadmap.
">
* Lead the data analytics team in delivering architectures that evolve and embrace new technologies as they become available.
">
* Develop expertise in enterprise data domains, including data relationships, quality, business data needs, and associated technology toolsets and methodologies.
">
* Analyze data from multiple domains, discover trends and associations, synthesize new integration constructs, and assist non-expert users in finding similar trends and associations.
">
* Use cutting-edge information technologies to organize and analyze data.
">
* Continuously scan the technology environment for new trends and techniques, interface with external consultants and thought leaders as needed.
">
* Develop project plans, determine project activities and milestones, manage execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, and provide ongoing communication on projects, issues, and major deliverables to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:
">
">
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
">
* 7 plus years of experience in architecture design and implementation.
">
* 5 plus years of experience in leading data projects and teams to deliver value.
">
* Azure or AWS certification is desirable.
">
* Expertise in designing and implementing complex data models, cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), data governance frameworks and best practices, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), data integration tools and techniques, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry processes, GMP regulations, intellectual curiosity, external perspective, innovation interest, relationship building, influencing change using knowledge and relationships, high-quality user-focused IT service and project delivery, formal project management methodologies, agile frameworks (including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), and working knowledge of associated practices and tools.
