We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Data Quality Analyst to support enterprise data quality, governance, and data reliability initiatives across multiple business domains. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent SQL capability, and the confidence to work across complex datasets, ambiguous ownership environments, and cross‑functional teams to drive data quality outcomes. Background as a Business Analyst would be highly advantageous.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, analyse, and improve data quality across enterprise platforms and reporting environmentsInvestigate data anomalies, identify root causes, validate fixes, and support incident resolution activitiesPartner with Data Stewards to define data quality rules, controls, and governance standardsWork closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to resolve data issues and align on ownership and business impactGather and document business and data requirements from stakeholders across multiple domainsSupport data lifecycle management and contribute to data product thinking and governance practicesChallenge data assumptions and proactively identify opportunities to improve data integrity, consistency, and usabilityCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on why data quality matters and how issues impact the businessRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of:Data quality concepts including accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timelinessData governance principles and data management best practicesData lifecycle management and data product thinkingAdvanced SQL skills (non-negotiable), including:Querying and analysing large datasetsInvestigating anomalies and performing root cause analysisValidating fixes and reconciling data issuesExperience with:Data platforms and databases such as DatabricksReporting and analytics tools such as Power BIWorking across complex enterprise data environmentsExposure to:Data observability and monitoring tools such as Monte Carlo or similar platforms would be advantageousSoft Skills & AttributesStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsA proactive, visible, and collaborative approach with a strong can-do attitudeComfortable working independently across multiple teams and domainsStrong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to influence and drive resolution across teams without direct authorityConfident communicator who can engage with both business and technical stakeholders effectivelySomeone who embeds themselves within the business and builds trusted working relationships across the organisation
