Mid-Senior Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out) Location: East of Ireland (Dublin / Leinster Region) Full-Time | Permanent About Castle Group Castle Group is a leading Irish specialist in fit-out and modular construction, delivering high-quality projects across Ireland and Europe since 1999.
Operating across sectors including data centres, commercial, life sciences, healthcare, and education, we partner with global clients to deliver complex, high-specification environments.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline in the Leinster region, we are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out) to join our commercial team.
Role Overview The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take commercial ownership of fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
This role requires strong experience in managing costs on fast-paced, high-value fit-out projects, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial aspects of fit-out projects from tender to final account Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation and contract management Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow, ensuring projects are delivered within budget Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting to senior management Work closely with project managers and site teams to drive cost efficiency and project performance Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures Requirements 5-8 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with a strong focus on fit-outprojects Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical or high-spec commercial fit-out projects Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline Proven track record delivering commercial aspects of medium to large-scale fit-out projects Strong knowledge of construction contracts (RIAI, JCT, or similar) Excellent negotiation, commercial awareness, and cost control skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the region Desirable Experience within a main contractor environment Membership or working towards membership of a professional body (e.g., SCSI / RICS) What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically complex projects Clear career progression within a growing organisation Supportive and collaborative team environment Exposure to projects across Ireland and Europe Eligibility Candidates must be currently based in Ireland and hold full eligibility to work in Ireland.
