We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst to help grow our business and contribute to our future.
As a Senior QA Analyst within ERS you will work closely with the development team and Business Analysts to assure the quality of our software. This role requires excellent knowledge of software quality principles, methods, and tools.
Major Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain detailed test specifications and plans; test web, mobile, and desktop applications.
* Conduct manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms to validate usability, performance, and reliability.
* Implement and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Cypress; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
* Participate in the full testing lifecycle: test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality standards.
* Drive quality assurance practices within cross-functional teams; proactively identify risks and recommend mitigations.
* Maintain disciplined documentation and tracking of defects; ensure timely resolution and clear communication with development teams.
* Re-test defect fixes and perform regression testing.
* Develop, document, and enforce QA policies, standards, and procedures to foster continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to support strategic initiatives and meet operational objectives.
Position Requirements
* Degree in computer science with 5+ years of experience in manual software testing.
* ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in test case development and execution is essential.
* Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle.
* SQL experience is essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
* Test automation experience is an advantage (Cypress).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to interpret user requirements and detailed technical/specs to plan, develop, and execute test cases and scripts.
* Proactive, with willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility where necessary.
