ABP Food Group is seeking to recruit a Treasury Front Office Analyst to join the Group Treasury team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual to join ABP Food Group during a time of growth. The Treasury Front Office Analyst will support the Treasurer in delivering the financing strategy of the Group, liquidity management, and interest rate and foreign exchange exposure management.

The Treasury Front Office Analyst will support FX risk management, intra-group financing, bank loans and capital markets issuances, debt investor relations and bank relationship management. The role will involve significant contact with divisional finance teams on cash management planning, potential funding needs, currency hedging, and adherence to treasury policies.

Strong technical skills and understanding of treasury risk management is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solutions-focused "can-do" attitude and drive to succeed; to operate effectively as part of a small, dedicated treasury team across a highly international and diverse business.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Treasurer in the management of the Group's FX hedging programme (including execution of hedging transactions on behalf of group operating divisions);

Cashflow forecasting and supporting the ongoing improvement of the Group's cash management capabilities;

Liquidity management including monitoring of short-term and long-term liquidity requirements of each of the Group entities and execution of money market transactions;

Support the management of the Group's long term funding programmes;

Balance sheet analysis to support balance sheet hedging management;

Management of treasury risks and operation of controls in accordance with Group Treasury policy;

Develop and maintain treasury procedures in accordance with the Group Treasury Policy;

Support the management of key banking relationships;

Support the Treasurer in analysing, enhancing, designing and implementing treasury systems and processes.

Leverage the treasury management system to improve the quality and timeliness of management information reporting;

Weekly and monthly treasury reporting;

Provide treasury support for ad hoc projects and activities (e.g. corporate development initiatives, acquisition integrations, enterprise risk management reviews, treasury management system enhancements, process automation etc.).

Report and monitor the daily cash position across the Group and support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual cash forecasts.

Support the consolidation and review of weekly forecast submissions from each of the Group entities.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or finance;

Prior experience working in a corporate treasury function for a large complex business;

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention for detail and strong financial modelling skills are essential;

Holding a recognised accountancy or treasury qualification is an advantage;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with finance teams across the ABP Food Group;

Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, be a self-starter and highly organised.

Experience with a recognized Treasury Management System, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
