Our service covers all the constituent parts required to independently produce a fund's dealing or indicative net asset value (NAV) on a monthly, weekly or daily basis.DepartmentThe AML team manage and develop SMT's AML risk framework across the fund services / depositary business. The team provide advice and deliver AML MI reporting to a variety of areas and stakeholders and their remit covers the shaping and streamlining of SMT's non-compliant reporting processes, while using and developing our risk based approach.The team has an in-depth knowledge of AML Legislation, Core and Sectoral Guideline Notes as well as a demonstrable understanding of the AML requirements associated with various legal entities, fund jurisdictions and PEP's. The Team spans three companies, SMT Trustees (Ireland) Limited, SMT Fund Services (Ireland) Limited and GAS Cayman Limited, with a common goal to mitigate the risk of regulatory sanctions, material financial loss and reputational damage.Role OverviewWe are looking for a knowledgeable and experiencedAdministrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience with AML. Your experience should include an understanding of Investment Fund and AML legislation and a demonstrable understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with fund administrators.This role will be based in Dublin.This role spans three companies, SMT Trustees (Ireland) Limited and SMT Fund Services (Ireland) Limited and GAS (Cayman) Limited and your key objective is to make sure we, our clients and their investors meet the requirements of the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010, the Criminal Justice Act 2013 and the Proceeds of Crime Law in the Cayman Islands.You should have the ability to report to an experienced level, demonstrate good attention to detail, and have the ability to effectively manage competing internal deadlines.You will have the opportunity to develop strong working relationships with teams in Transition, Shareholder Services, Depositary and Corporate Governance.Core ResponsibilitiesRe-papering Simplified and Low risk investorsAssisting in Risk Assessing all new and existing investors when requiredPreparing investor and client files for sign off (Clearance) when requiredLiaising with investors and clients, through telephone/written communication, until all requested AML documentation has been obtained;Maintaining a record of complete and incomplete AML investors and ensuring action is taken to receive all outstanding documentation.Any other ad-hoc duties, as requestedEssential Key RequirementsAbility to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.We're looking for someone who can complete their work in a timely and accurate manner and has a structured and determined approach to work.The candidate will need to have a willingness to take ownership of problems and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.The candidate will also need to adopt a proactive and common sense approach to problems and escalate where necessary.You will be interested in developing your career in Compliance and AML.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications relating to designated areas of responsibilityCompetenciesProblem SolvingPrioritisingDecision MakingTeam PlayerCommunication*********************
