Overview
You’re a digital-first thinker who enjoys turning strategy into clear, usable content outcomes. In this role you’ll contribute to scalable content frameworks, governance and omnichannel plans, applying content-design principles (plain language, accessibility, IA) to help teams ship work that meets business goals and user needs. You’ll support website migrations, content audits and day-to-day optimisation across modern platforms.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to omnichannel content plans across web, email, social, CRM and campaigns.
* Support website migration activities: audits, inventories, content mapping, redirects and light governance documentation.
* Help document taxonomy, metadata and content models for findability and scale.
* Maintain editorial guidelines, templates and workflow checklists.
* Apply plain-language and accessibility (WCAG) practices to content recommendations.
* Partner with UX/service design to align copy, IA and content flows with evidence from research.
* Prepare page outlines, sample copy and content requirements that reflect user journeys.
* Assist with workshop facilitation and stakeholder working sessions.
* Prepare decks, one-pagers and status updates; present portions of work as needed.
* Coordinate with design, marketing and technology teams to keep content tasks unblocked.
* Build and maintain content inventories, dashboards and reports (GA4, GSC).
* Surface insights and make practical optimisation recommendations; track impact against agreed KPIs.
Requirements
* 3+ years in content strategy, content design, editorial planning or similar digital roles.
* Hands-on experience with website content audits and contribution to migration projects.
* Working knowledge of taxonomy, metadata and content modelling; able to follow and extend established frameworks.
* Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG), plain language, IA and user journey mapping.
* Comfortable with stakeholder collaboration and clear written/verbal communication.
* Analytical basics: able to pull, interpret and visualise data to inform content decisions (GA4, GSC).
* Proficiency with CMS tools, Miro/Figma or similar collaboration platforms, and standard productivity suites.
* Curiosity for new tools and practical use of AI to improve efficiency.
Nice to Have
* Exposure to service design/UX research practices.
* Awareness of CRM, SEO fundamentals, structured content and design systems.
* Experience in knowledge management or large-scale programme environments.
