Job Title: Administrative Support Officer
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Administrative Support Officer to join our team. This role involves providing general administrative support in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing data entry, filing, and correspondence support
* Assisting with patient registration, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records
* Handling telephone and email queries professionally and ensuring confidentiality
* Processing and managing medical records, reports, and documentation in line with hospital policies
* Supporting the finance team with billing, invoicing, and processing claims if required
* Maintaining stock levels of office supplies and requesting orders as needed
* Ensuring adherence to data protection and confidentiality policies when handling patient information
* Assisting in coordinating meetings, minutes, and reports for various hospital departments
* Working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure smooth departmental operations
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of one year's clerical/administrative experience in a busy office environment
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
* Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements
Salary: €16.32 - €25.71 per hour based on previous verified relevant public sector experience
Temporary 3-month initial contract
