Director, Sales and Marketing Recruitment Expert
Amicus Search & Recruitment is seeking a Sales Director to lead a commercial marketing team and drive brand sales. This role offers autonomy, a hybrid work model (3 days in Dublin West office), and a competitive salary with 20% bonus.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for brands and delivery of P&L top‑ and bottom‑line gross contribution.
* Develop and execute a clear, visionary strategy for the brand portfolio aligned with group growth ambitions.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performance team and drive succession planning.
* Serve as the primary liaison for country managers and brand owners, building strong, collaborative relationships.
* Localise and implement global brand strategies across Irish and Northern Ireland markets.
* Drive profitable growth through data‑led decision making and budget planning in collaboration with finance and commercial teams.
* Partner with field sales and commercial teams to deliver exceptional in‑trade execution.
* Define growth strategies for brands to win across all channels.
* Identify new market opportunities and lead pitches for new business.
* Generate sustainable growth for brands via increased rate‑of‑sale, distribution, and brand equity metrics.
* Create and nurture a culture of high‑performance, accountability, and results.
Qualifications & Skills
* Extensive (minimum 5–6 years) retail/FMCG background, particularly in the Irish trade.
* Strong people leadership ability to engage teams and drive high performance.
* Commercially astute with relevant analytical skills and experience in budget management.
* Excellent communicator skilled in stakeholder management and fostering relationships.
* A strategic thinker with strong planning and organisation skills.
* Creative thinker capable of innovating and thinking outside the box.
