FTC, full and part-time options available. This hotel, with extensive corporate business and significant meeting space, is deeply committed to providing a workplace of innovation and excellence. They are now recruiting a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing who can lead the team to even greater success while fostering a positive work environment. This role is available on a fixed-term contract until January 2026, with potential for future opportunities within the company for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Sales: Plan and direct the daily operations of the sales and marketing department to maximize revenue and profitability while delivering exceptional service. Activities include lead generation, face-to-face meetings, contract negotiations, site inspections, trade shows, client entertainment, and sales trips. Regularly engage with and mentor the Sales & Marketing team, developing talent pipeline. Track corporate accounts monthly to assess performance and take corrective actions. Manage RFPs for the city, ensuring maximum participation. Analyze GDS reports to enhance business strategies. Focus on increasing meeting and conference business. Provide regular performance reports to the General Manager and Central Office. Maintain accurate sales correspondence and utilize CRM systems. Collaborate on pricing strategies and forecasting.Marketing: Oversee the marketing budget, develop quarterly activity plans, and execute promotional campaigns through media and online channels. Organize corporate events, create promotional materials, and manage the hotel website content. Attend group promotions and schedule individual promotions as needed.The ideal candidate:Minimum of three years experience as Director or Assistant Director of Sales in a large hotel, with knowledge of the Dublin market.Creative, outgoing, and relationship-builder.
