We are looking to recruit the right person for a permanent Retail Butcher to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: · Supporting the Manager in the day to day running of the shop · Handling and preparing raw and cooked foods in a delicatessen environment for chilled cabinets · Provide top quality, fast, efficient and friendly service, giving customers immediate and undivided attention · Ensure stock control procedures including waste management and order systems are adhered to · Best practice merchandising, display and department layout skills · Implement all shop marketing plans and maximising promotions · Set-up and close-down of counters and pore-pack areas · Help to achieve Sales Targets as agreed with shop manager · To ensure company rules, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times · Always maintain a clean butcher/retail environment · Uphold and enhance Health and Safety Standards, including cleanliness and hygiene.
