Our Sr Software Engineer (Data) will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA.
Location
This role is based remotely in EMEA in one of our legal entities: the UK, Ireland, Israel, Estonia, or Spain. It is also available to contractors in other Eastern European locations and Portugal.

The Opportunity
As a Sr Software Engineer (Data), you will be working on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product and implementing new features. You'll be collaborating with product managers and developers from other teams and also participating in product-making decisions.
Responsibilities
1. Implementing features from proposal, through spec and implementation, to maintenance. Propose improvements for the products.
2. Reviewing code and conducting pull request reviews.
3. Improving codebase health by addressing technical debt and dedicating time for housekeeping.
4. Providing feedback during team planning and discussions to identify challenges early.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of software development experience
* Experience with BigQuery, ClickHouse, SQL, and working with data
* Experience with both Frontend and Backend engineering
* Knowledge of programming languages, ideally React and Go; willingness to learn if not known.
* Experience with Cloud solutions is advantageous but not required.
* Commitment to continuous development and learning
* Knowledge of software engineering practices
* Passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS applications
* Experience with Git/GitHub
* Excellent English communication skills
* Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, thorough, and tenacious
* Ability to operate flexibly in a fast-paced environment
* Sense of humor and enjoyment of fun at work
Bonus Points
* BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
* Experience with Google Cloud or AWS in a production environment
