Associate Director
Job Overview
The Associate Director plays a pivotal role in our advisory Financial Accounting division, overseeing proactive accounting specialists who provide practical solutions to clients' complex financial reporting challenges. This position requires individuals with the ability to respond quickly to fast-moving business processes and timelines.
* Proficient accountant with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Experience working with multinational corporations (MNCs) in an industry or practice setting
* Previous international experience in accounting, financial reporting, and/or supporting auditing of companies across EMEA, APAC, and Americas
* Strong experience in preparing financial statements in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UK & Irish GAAP, and desirable in other international jurisdictions
Main Responsibilities
The Associate Director is responsible for:
* Maintaining and developing key client relationships
* Proposal and business development work, preparing budgets, liaising with international offices and partner/director, and other stakeholders
* Designing and implementing project plans, delegating tasks to junior members, and coaching
* Ensuring completion of assignments within budget and timeframe
Requirements
To succeed as an Associate Director, you should possess:
1. Exceptional accounting expertise, including proficiency in GAAP
2. Proven experience working with MNCs in various settings
3. A strong background in international accounting, financial reporting, and auditing
4. Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements in IFRS and other relevant standards
