Your New Role:
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will work on construction projects alongside multiple project teams. Your primary responsibilities include implementing and maintaining the company's management system for these projects.
* You will coordinate all EHS matters within Project Management Teams and report constructively to the management team.
* Provide support to Project Managers, supervisors, and workers by offering leadership and coordination of day-to-day EHS requirements.
* Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the EHS management systems in place.
* Carry out site audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain EHS management systems across multiple projects.
* Provide guidance and training on EHS matters to management, safety representatives, and employees.
* Coordinate the development of EHS plans, RAMS, and other associated site documents.
* Participate in site meetings and contribute to the identification of business risks and trends.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar industry with knowledge of mechanical construction work being beneficial.
* Essential experience working on construction projects in Ireland, as well as familiarity with Construction Regulations and roles.
* Minimum diploma-level qualification in a health & safety course in Ireland.
* Possession of Safe Pass, Full Driving Licence, and up-to-date IOSH Membership.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to communicate effectively via email.
