Job Description: What you get to do in this role: Review and negotiate complex enterprise customer sales agreements that meet the company's requirements under its policies, including those for risk tolerance, while working collaboratively with the business team, including various executives.
Collaborate with finance, sales operations, deal desk, product operations, support, security and other business units at all levels throughout the organisation to ensure that agreements adequately protect the company's interests.
Support the continuous improvement of standard forms of agreement and legal processes.
Be a trusted business partner, responding in a timely and productive manner to requests from internal customers.
Counsel internal customers regarding company policies, legal issues, and risk tolerance.
Occasional travel Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
High level of relevant legal experience Profound in-house commercial contracting experience dealing with SaaS or software licensing transactions supporting a sales organisation, including transactions involving AI, cloud/hyperscalers, and EBA/DORA.
Understanding of terms impacting US GAAP revenue recognition.
Interest in legal aspects of information technology, cybersecurity, data protection, technology advancements, and transactional implementation.
Excellent negotiating and influencing skills, with a talent for non-confrontational, win-win negotiations.
Exceptional critical thinking, strong business acumen, and good judgment; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of distilling complex issues clearly and effectively in various contexts.
Desire for close collaboration with sales teams to close deals efficiently with a practical approach.
Excellent drafting and legal technical skills, with keen attention to detail and awareness of the bigger picture.
A learning mindset.
Legal degree from a jurisdiction in EMEA, such as Dutch Law.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
International/EU-wide experience, especially with customers in the Middle East, is a plus.
