About the Role
This position involves providing engineering support and problem-solving for new and existing biopharmaceutical process equipment. Responsibilities include designing, specifying, and commissioning cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Specification: Design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls to meet project requirements.
2. Project Management: Manage small-to-mid-sized projects related to process equipment and manufacturing.
3. Design Review and Installation: Assist in design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.
4. Drawing Preparation: Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams and other related drawings.
5. Process Flow Diagrams: Develop Process Flow Diagrams for manufacturing processes.
6. QA Support: Support QA Validation department by preparation of design documents and assists in protocol execution.
7. Lifecycle Documentation: Review and approval of lifecycle documentation, cleaning validation protocols, and summary reports.
8. Problem Investigation: Assist with investigations of process equipment, utility systems, and control system anomalies, as well as safety incidents.
9. Departmental Support: Assist management with tracking of department throughput and efficiency.
10. Cross-Functional Meetings: Represent engineering department at cross-functional meetings.

Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity you should have a BS/BEng in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience. Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred.
