Supply Chain Specialist (Contractor), Dublin 4
This role is with Huawei Europe, a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices. The position is based in Dublin 4, Ireland, and involves managing supply chain operations, logistics, and costs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage supply chain activities, including project supply, logistics, and operational costs.
* Handle supply-related business independently to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Use platforms to manage orders, plans, and logistics, identify risks, and maintain supply stability.
* Coordinate with supply centers in China and Hungary, develop resource plans, and supply solutions based on customer needs.
* Identify supply and demand risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of global supply chain and international trade, with professional communication skills.
* Experience in project management and operations.
* Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
* Basic knowledge of telecommunications, enterprise networks, and digital energy products.
* Skills in cost management, planning, and risk assessment.
* Effective communication with customers, teams, and suppliers.
* Results-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Proactive, team-oriented attitude, and ability to travel within the EU.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or Project Management.
* Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
* Minimum one year of experience in logistics.
Additional Information:
This is a contractor role based in Dublin, Ireland, with a focus on supply chain management for Huawei Europe. Applicants must have an EU work permit and be eligible to work and live in Belgium.
