Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide personalized support to individuals with additional needs, enabling them to fully participate in their programs and meet their daily requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students in achieving their personal goals under the instructor's supervision, ensuring they stay on task and fully engage in their program.
* Accompany and support students who may need to leave the training room, assisting them return to class when ready.
* Provide support during community-based activities and work experiences, guaranteeing students engage fully in external learning opportunities.
* Offer personal care assistance when needed, maintaining students' well-being and dignity at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have or be working towards QQI Level 5 Health Care or Social Care qualification as well as experience of supporting adults/young people with disabilities including managing challenging behaviors. You should also possess good interpersonal communication organizational skills an ability work flexibly person-centered approach ensure safety by applying health & safety procedures report concerns adhere safety policies Salary starting point €27099.53 pro-rata equivalent per hour subject experience qualifications
