About this Role
We are actively seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies across the site.
This role requires a strong team player with a thorough understanding of Lean philosophy and practicalities, and highly developed communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Improvement: Lead and implement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize operations and reduce waste.
* Data Analysis: Leverage data-driven insights to identify performance gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, supply chain, quality, and other departments to enhance overall operational performance.
* Employee Engagement: Develop standards for continuous improvement and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
* Change Management: Champion organizational change by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Training and Development: Coach and mentor peers on Lean principles and other operational excellence tools.
* Compliance: Ensure all improvements align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and policies.
* Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage operational excellence projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
* Problem Solving and Decision Making: Apply a systematic approach to identifying problems, analyzing root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Science, or a related field (level 7 or higher).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools such as Power BI or Smartsheets.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams.
