About the Role
Join EPS Group, a leader in water and wastewater solutions as a Project Engineer in our Manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of planning, executing and delivering infrastructure projects for Municipal, Dairy, Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
Lead end-to-end project execution: planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure all projects meet technical specifications, environmental standards, and client requirements.
Compliance & Safety
Champion Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) policies on site.
Prepare and submit permits and regulatory documentation.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to all stakeholders.
Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Team & Resource Management
Allocate and manage internal and external resources effectively.
Supervise site teams, ensuring training, performance, and morale.
Resolve conflicts and maintain productivity.
Risk & Quality Control
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Conduct inspections and enforce quality control procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and reviews.
Financial Oversight
Monitor project costs, approve invoices, and manage variations.
Report on financial performance and forecast future needs.
Procurement
Manage procurement activities, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project milestones.
Sustainability & Innovation
Promote sustainable practices in wastewater treatment and infrastructure.
Explore innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Key Competencies and Skills
Strong PC proficiency and technical aptitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving ability.
Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
Ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
Mechanical or Engineering degree (or equivalent).
2–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Full Irish driving licence.
Experience in water/wastewater projects is an advantage.
