Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Care Specialist to provide high-quality care to newborn infants requiring additional support within our Special Care Baby Units (SCBU), High Dependency (HDU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU).
This role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing neonatal equipment. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical care to neonates in SCBU, HDU, and NICU environments.
* Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage neonatal equipment.
* Conduct neonatal assessments and escalate concerns promptly.
* Provide feeding support, including breastfeeding assistance and NG/OG tube feeding.
* Participate in stabilisation and emergency responses in accordance with neonatal clinical guidelines.
Requirements
* A registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Children's Nurse (RCN), or Registered Midwife (RM) with active registration.
* A valid Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) certification is mandatory.
