Job Overview
We are seeking an Insurance Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for delivering sales results while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver sales results and achieve individual targets through proactive prospecting, up-selling, and cross-selling of Personal Lines, Commercial, and Agri business.
* To handle customer queries in a timely and professional manner, referring unresolved or technical queries to the relevant personnel.
* To ensure compliance with all company procedures and systems.
* To maintain comprehensive knowledge of our commercial product range and compliance requirements, completing relevant industry qualifications and CPD hours as necessary.
* To work flexibly within the sales office, participating in various tasks including attending the local market.
* To provide relief to other sales offices in the region, as required.
* To develop mutually beneficial working relationships with colleagues and external partners, enhancing overall service delivery to customers.
* To participate in account management initiatives for Commercial and Agri business.
* To engage in ongoing renewal follow-ups, identifying sales opportunities, cover/rate improvements, and other areas of improvement.
* To assist customers at the initial notification of claims stage, following company procedures.
* To take responsibility for individual outstanding debit/premium collections.
* To provide dedicated support to the sales team, as directed.
* To perform administrative tasks related to Personal Lines, Commercial, and Agri business as required.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Leaving Certificate or equivalent, and/or a relevant third-level qualification.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Previous insurance/financial services experience would be advantageous.
* Sales/customer service experience.
* A proactive approach, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
* Customer focus and excellent organizational abilities.
