About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and solutions-driven
IT Consultant
to join our team in Ireland. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, assess technology challenges, and deliver tailored IT solutions that enhance efficiency, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse clients' existing IT systems, workflows, and infrastructure.
* Provide expert recommendations and develop tailored technology solutions.
* Lead or support implementation of new systems, software, and processes.
* Work with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and guide clients through resolution steps.
* Prepare documentation, technical reports, and solution proposals.
* Deliver training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to users.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
* Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience as an IT Consultant, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
* Hands-on experience with systems implementation, software integration, or IT transformation projects.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Ability to manage multiple client projects and prioritise effectively.
Preferred Skills
* Certifications such as
CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, ITIL, or PMI
.
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Knowledge of Irish or EU technology compliance (GDPR, ISO standards).
* Consulting experience in sectors such as finance, healthcare, technology, or public services.
