Location: Clonshaugh, County Dublin IrelandContract Type: 12-Month ContractREF Code: DES-1176OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to act as the Site Electrical Systems SME, leading the development and implementation of a preventative & predictive maintenance program aligned with European Electrical Standards and ETCI regulations.This is a senior-level role responsible for ensuring full compliance, reliability, and performance of all site electrical infrastructure, while driving continuous improvement and best practice maintenance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement a site-wide Electrical Maintenance Program (PM & PdM)Identify and manage all HV, MV & LV systems and infrastructureDevelop and maintain electrical hierarchy drawings (A-CAD) and as-built documentationIntegrate all assets into Maximo CMMS with compliant maintenance plansOwn and maintain the Site Electrical SOP & ATEX RegisterMaintain Arc Flash studies, short circuit studies & electrical safety complianceOversee critical systems including UPS, Generators, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Power Quality & Energy Monitoring systemsAct as Electrical Lead on site projects, managing change control and power down/up activitiesRepresent the site during FM Global inspectionsDrive electrical infrastructure upgrades and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic EngineeringOR National Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering & Degree in Management10+ years’ electrical experience in industrial/regulated environmentsStrong knowledge of European Electrical Standards & ETCI regulations*Only candidates with a valid work visa for Ireland or an EU passport will be considered.
