Role: Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist
* A full-time permanent contract with 35 hours per week

Salary Range: €42,200 – €60,969
Location: Dublin Region
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist, your primary role will be to assess and diagnose clients' speech therapy requirements. You will create personalized communication programs that meet the professional standards of a speech therapist.
* Clinical Responsibilities:
* Examine and diagnose clients' speech therapy needs
* Develop communication programs tailored to individual clients
* Monitor and assess clients' progress, modifying programs as necessary
Multidisciplinary Teamwork: You will collaborate closely with staff nurses and other unit personnel to provide comprehensive care to clients. This includes providing ongoing support to staff in implementing communication programs.
* Key Aspects:
* Liaise with staff nurses and unit personnel for direct client care
* Provide support to staff in day-to-day implementation of communication programs
* Facilitate parental involvement in their children's communication programs
* Liaise with the multidisciplinary team regarding program placement and case conferences
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Bsc Degree in Clinical Speech and Language Therapy
* CORU Registration or advanced stage
* Full Clean Driving License and use of a car
* Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disability (ID) and/or Autism is desirable
* Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
* Dysphagia training is essential
