We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth daily operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for staff management, marketing and promotional activities, cost control, and employee development. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the Irish hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high service and food quality standards
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of staff
* Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members to build a strong service culture
* Monitor and control operational expenses, including inventory, purchasing, and waste reduction
* Plan and execute marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase customer traffic
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and employment regulations in Ireland
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and manage feedback to continuously improve service
* Analyze sales data and prepare regular operational and financial reports
* Lead the team to achieve revenue targets and operational goals
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, preferably in Ireland
* Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Good knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and P&L management
* Experience with digital marketing and advertising platforms is an advantage
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
* Strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork
* Understanding of Irish food safety and labour compliance standards
