Our Presence in Ireland
We have been operating in Ireland since 1946 and serve the Irish market with a range of healthcare products including diagnostics, diabetes care, medical devices, and nutritional products. In Ireland, we employ about 6,000 people across ten sites located in Dublin, Donegal, Clonmel, Cootehill, Galway, Kilkenny, Longford, and Sligo.
Main Purpose of the Role
The ideal candidate will have the ability to execute complex or specialized work. They should possess knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in a particular area. This role requires independence, with the ability to apply standards while adapting precedent and making departures from established processes to resolve problems.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform sampling activities to support product manufacture in a regulated environment.
* Makes and records observations.
* Performs calculations.
* Collects and prepares data for evaluation.
* Conducts laboratory support functions such as stocking and distributing supplies and equipment, arranging and dismantling apparatus, and collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
* Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* A third-level qualification in Science or Manufacturing.
* Preferred two years' work experience in a related field.
* Desirable skills include electron beam sterilization technologies, ISO 11137, and lab experience in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Dosimetry.
