The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the maintenance team. This role ensures the smooth delivery of services across all Irish client sites by supervising internal personnel, subcontractors, and liaising with the operations team on logistics. The role also includes active hands-on maintenance work, client interaction, onboarding of all new maintenance team staff, and providing additional training as required to all maintenance staff. Key Responsibilities Ensure all necessary training and support is provided to the maintenance team, for both new and existing staff, focusing particularly on practical maintenance skills, including the use of pesticides and herbicides, plant presentation and the use of company mandated software. Collaborate with the Operations team to maintain an up-to-date maintenance team schedule thereby ensuring effective coverage across all client sites. Ensure adequate cover for client sites is provided when assigned staff are on scheduled annual leave, sick leave etc. Visit client sites, communicate and meet with clients as required to ensure quality standards and client expectations are being met. Ensure compliance with health and safety and contractual obligations. Co-ordinate scheduling and logistics for both planned and reactive maintenance. Ensuring that all maintenance operations are effectively logged on the management system and clients are receiving their scheduled maintenance reports. Undertake audits and provide up to date reports for clients as required. Perform general maintenance and service work as needed alongside the team.
