Description:
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of building projects in Carlow and the South East.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support and advice to colleagues, subcontractor personnel, and other third parties on health and safety matters.
* Properly report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and assist with investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required, and ensure that management personnel put appropriate action plans in place.
* Review corrective actions arising from incidents, inspections, and audits.
* Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are fully implemented and comply with all relevant legislation.
* Assist with the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Communicate health and safety lessons learnt and other initiatives effectively.
* Apply a proactive approach to problem-solving and day-to-day health, safety, and environmental management.

Requirements:
* The successful candidate should hold 3rd-level qualifications in health and safety.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is required.
* Previous main contractor experience based in Ireland or the UK is essential.
* The candidate should possess a sound understanding of health and safety legislation and be able to evaluate current and emerging trends in health and safety management.
* The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, show excellent initiative, quickly resolve issues, and integrate well into a project team while possessing the level of independence required for this role.

Benefits:
* A competitive salary range of €65,000 – €75,000 per annum.
