My client is looking for a SecOp Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience to join their organisation based in Cork.
This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities: Triage and resolve incidents, problems, and operational issues across security platforms.
Assist with major incident management, communication, and post-incident reviews.
Execute operational runbooks, maintenance activities, and health checks.
Develop and implement automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor system performance, availability, and error conditions.
Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
2 - 4 years of experience in IT operations, system/network administration, or security operations.
Hands-on experience with network security, endpoint security, logging, and security tools.
Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks.
Knowledge of IT service management processes, incident, and change management.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
