Summary
We are seeking an IT Vendor & Contract Integration Lead to own technology portfolio discovery, analysis, and transition planning during post-acquisition integration.
This role will be on a 6/12 Month FTC.
This role focuses on building a high-quality IT asset and vendor inventory, evaluating future-state actions (merge, replatform, retain, decommission), and driving data-backed decisions on cost, value, and risk.
The role partners closely with business, technology, procurement and M&A stakeholders to create executable roadmaps and ensure benefits realisation.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, normalise, and maintain
IT asset portfolios
, ensuring high data quality and completeness of metadata aligned to M&A integration requirements.
Identify gaps in inventory, contracts and metadata; drive remediation to establish a reliable system of record.
Evaluate
future-state actions
for applications and vendors (merge, replatform, keep, decommission), identifying redundancies and scoring cost, value and risk.
Develop
technology roadmaps
with clear timelines, dependencies and transition states tied to portfolio decisions.
Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to drive decisions, manage risks/issues and control dependencies and critical paths.
Perform
financial modelling
(TCO, NPV, payback) and scenario analysis to support investment and rationalisation decisions.
Track
post-integration benefits
and outcomes, including KPIs such as cost-to-serve, utilisation, redundancy reduction, technical debt and onboarding time.
Analyse change impacts and support stakeholder communications throughout integration.
Leverage
APM and EA tools
(e.g. ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, CMDB) to model portfolios, support analysis and produce decision-ready outputs.
Required Skills / Experience
Strong experience in
IT portfolio management
, vendor/contract integration or technology rationalisation.
Hands-on proficiency with
APM / EA tools
(ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, CMDB or equivalent).
Proven ability to drive
structured decision-making
in complex, ambiguous environments.
Experience with
financial analysis and modelling
for IT investments.
Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong attention to
data quality
, governance and analytical rigor.
Nice to Have
Experience partnering with Procurement, Finance and Legal on vendor and contract transitions.
Background in enterprise architecture or technology strategy.
