Job Description
An experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Galway based manufacturing company.
Role of this position
1. Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of production and facility equipment.
2. Document maintenance and calibration activities in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
4. Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC power systems, PLC, servo drive systems and compressed air issues.
5. Assist in developing and improving preventive maintenance programs.
6. Identify and report any equipment concerns or issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
7. NFQ Level 6 degree or trades equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
8. 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing.
9. A working knowledge of PLCs, Motor drives and pneumatic components.
10. Strong electromechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
11. An Electrical Qualification would be advantageous.
