Job Description
An immediate requirement exists for an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to provide critical support to the organization. This role involves providing administrative assistance with board, committee, and AGM matters, including minute-taking, correspondence, and statutory filing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the preparation and hosting of meetings, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded and distributed in a timely manner.
* Provide corporate governance support, including drafting policies and processes that align with the organization's governance framework.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Members, Nominees, Legal Advisors, Auditors, Regulators, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Irish company law, corporate governance, and the Companies Act 2014. Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services sector, preferably insurance, is highly desirable.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Company Secretary or equivalent role in a financial services organization.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
