Location: Roscommon (Hybrid)
Salary: From €70,000- 80,000
The Opportunity
Our client a leading company based in County Roscommon have a new opening for an IT Manager to take full ownership of IT operations and lead the implementation of a new ERP ing directly to the CFO and working closely with the senior leadership team, this is a career-defining opportunity for someone ready to step into their first autonomous IT leadership role. You'll oversee day-to-day operations while helping build the digital infrastructure that powers future growth.
Responsibilities:
Own the IT Environment
1. Manage infrastructure, software, licences, and access.
2. Oversee system stability, backups, security, and compliance.
3. Maintain and optimise tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, CRM, and finance platforms.
Lead the ERP Journey
4. Contribute to ERP system evaluation and selection.
5. Act as internal lead during implementation—ensuring alignment with real business workflows.
6. Manage data migration, testing, training, and post-launch adoption.
Be the Go-To Tech Partner
7. Provide responsive, hands-on IT support across the business.
8. Maintain internal ticketing, documentation, and access protocols.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues.
Secure & Govern IT Systems
10. Implement cybersecurity controls (MFA, antivirus, backups).
11. Centralise admin rights and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Drive Integration & Efficiency
12. Identify and implement smart integrations and automations.
13. Monitor tool usage and performance to drive ROI.
Manage Vendors & Budgets
14. Evaluate contracts and licences for value and flexibility.
15. Track spend and ensure alignment with budget targets.
Collaborate Across Functions
16. Partner with Sales, Operations, HR, and Finance to align tech solutions.
17. Deliver user training and promote digital adoption.
18. Translate between technical and non-technical teams.
Shape IT Strategy
19. Develop and manage a 1–3 year roadmap.
20. Plan for scale, team expansion, and new technologies.
21. Drive innovation, especially around automation and AI tools.
Your Background
22. 5+ years in IT roles with progressive responsibility
23. ERP or business system implementation experience (hands-on or support)
24. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, CRM, and cloud platforms
25. Working knowledge of cybersecurity, licensing, vendor management
